If you have been injured on the job don’t settle your case with your employer or insurance carrier until you speak to your attorney. As with any type of case where you may be in contact with an insurance adjuster, your employer and adjuster are not on your side. Their goal is to pay you as little as possible.

And on a side note about these worker’s compensation cases, they are very dear to my heart. My dad worked at a paper mill his entire working career. I too worked there through college.
